Shire-March of Grimfells

Come one and all to the Annual Blood of Heroes event, where chasing a Quick and Dog Skull is brutal and fun!

The Shire-March of Grimfells is once again hosting this spectacular event. It will be an all day event that you will throw all of your energy into and this year we have the advantage of being able to offer all of those interested, a post revel party thta you may not forget anytime soon. Directions to the Post Revel will be provided on site.

If you are of a mind please ride your motorcycles to this years event! The annual Bikes, Blues and BBQ is going on the same weekend! One of the fastest growing Bike events in the country! If you are riding and don't want to bring your swords, etc, we will have loaners available.

If you want to ride the hills and hollers of Arkansas before the event, email Syr Marcus on the Calontir list for the possibility of EARLY crash space.

Because this is a Corps of Engineers Park, there is a $4 fee per car to enter the park. We ar not charging for the site (donations gladly accepted). There is a covered pavillion, with tables, a spigot, and grill on site. Restrooms are close by. There is a restaurant very close for lunch.

Directions to Site

Take your best method to I-540 between Joplin, MO and Fort Smith, AR. Go to Exit 78 from the North or South. Turn East towards Lowell on AR 264, go 1.8 miles. Turn right on AR 264 (south). Go 2 miles. Turn Left on W AR 264, go 4.3 miles. Slight right at Cow Face Road, look for the SCA sign. Go 1.3 miles. Turn left on County Road 602 / Hickory Creek Road. Go .8 miles. Turn Right at Hickory Creek Park / Marina Road and go .3 miles.
